What is Digital Nomad Trip Reports?

The DNTR Mission, Submitting A Report, & More 👉️

Digital Nomad Trip Reports is for you if you’re living -or curious about!- the digital nomad lifestyle.

Whether you’re a 10-year veteran nomad, a new-nomad, or simply a curious observer - you’ll be glued to Digital Nomad Trip Reports 📄

It doesn’t matter if you’re leaving for your 1st or 500th destination, one of the biggest unknowns in any nomadic journey is what’s waiting for you at the other end.

For many (maybe even you) that unknown is part of the appeal.

But it means that -without going everywhere- it’s difficult to zero in on the places you know you’ll really love.

Those same unknowns can also mean it takes time to truly integrate.

  • What are the best areas?

  • Will other nomads be there, and how can I meet them?

  • Which supermarkets are good?

A fresh report is sent every Friday & you can read it in 5mins or less.

Digital Nomad Trip Reports make the unknowns known - by crowdsourcing Trip Reports from real-life nomads.

The DNTR promise is simple: help you ‘know before you go’ 🧠

Our own experience of digital nomad life through the years helps shape the report structure, and we quality control all contributions to make sure what we’re sending is worth reading.

How did the Digital Nomad Trip Reports Newsletter get started?

Digital Nomad Trip Reports are not new.

They’ve appeared infrequently over the years in different corners of the internet 🌐

First, we spotted them on Reddit. And initially started sharing our own on Linkedin - where they were well received…

But with a newsletter structure comes scalability & searchability - making these reports even more effective in helping people know before they go.

How can I contribute? 💭

Share your experience of a location by submitting a trip report, and we’ll share with DNTR readers.

We’ll give you full credit for the report, unless you’d like to remain anonymous.

Can I see a trip report for somewhere specific?

Reply to any of our reports & let us know where you’d like to see future reports.

We’ll do our best to source one from our extended network of tens of thousands of nomads.

…And If we can’t we’ll go there ourselves and write one just for you 💙Â
