🌐 Internet / Working
El Cabo has insanely good wifi (everywhere from the rooftop to the basement!
There was co-working included at Coworking Agaete ( just a 2min walk from coliving) 🧡
🗣️ Language: Spanish
But this is the Canary Islands, so there's plenty of English spoken
The coliving was very international, Brazilians, Spaniards, Americans, Germans, British, French... a very mixed bag.
🌤️ Weather
Mornings are great because the sun is on the rooftop at El Cabo, but not directly.
Instead, the light hits the Faneque Cliffs (Highest sea cliff in Europe & 7th highest worldwide)
This makes the rooftop an AMAZING space to work in the mornings if you're an early bird.
The weather in the afternoons was good temp, just very windy.
Things to do
Lots of walking and hiking trails
Plenty of options to swim in the natural pools
El Cabo Coliving was super sociable, there was always something going on.
Repeople have other locations in Las Palmas, so you can almost guarantee there'll be events happening during your stay.
📈 Best things
The natural pools for swimming on a hot afternoon 😍
The sports centre was just €2 per day to enter!
The coliving communal areas - bright, spacious, CLEAN, and stocked.

📉 Worst things
I was only there for a short time and mainly stayed in Puerto de las Nieves, but Agaete itself is much bigger.
The self-contained feeling of Peurto de las Nieves gave me little reason to venture into the town centre, but I should have!
Anything Else?
I was in town for Nomad City Fest 2023 - speaking on The Future of Nomad Accommodation - and while I was there, the Repeople Coliving team gave me a private tour of their coliving & cohousing spaces.
What I saw blew me away! 🤩
Working from the El Cabo roof terrace - pure delight!
My favourite thing about Agaete was my morning walk to the natural pools...

You like island life & small-town living
You like easy access to (decent!) coworking space
You like there being plenty of organised weekly events (hello morning rooftop yoga!) 🧘♀️🧘♂️
